Wear your Family Reunion royal blue t-shirt and wear comfortable shoes (Admission to the aquarium after luncheon is not covered by the event registration - Aquarium entry must be purchased individually)
Transportation Departure Time: 9AM at the Hotel Lobby
Shuttle pickup will begin loading passengers at 9AM. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes.
Shuttle departure begins from 2PM-4PM.

Please keep in mind that many of these group activities may require reservations as well as transportation to and from the hotel. Here are some attractions that are close by!
1. Water Wall
Only about 5 minutes from the hotel, this iconic Houston landmark is perfect for reunion photos and casual gatherings. The massive cascading fountain surrounded by oak trees creates a relaxing atmosphere for families wanting a simple outdoor activity before dinner or shopping.
2. Houston Museum of Natural Science
Located about 20–25 minutes away in Hermann Park, this museum is one of Houston’s top attractions for families. Kids love the dinosaur exhibits and interactive science displays, while adults enjoy the planetarium and gem halls. It’s an excellent indoor option during hot or rainy weather.
3. Houston Zoo
Right next to the museum district, the Houston Zoo makes a great half-day outing for reunion groups with children. The shaded walking paths, animal encounters, and family-friendly layout make it easy for large groups to enjoy together.
4. Downtown Aquarium
About 20 minutes from the hotel, this combines an aquarium, amusement rides, restaurants, and interactive exhibits. It works especially well for families with younger children and offers enough variety to entertain everyone for several hours.
5.Space Center Houston
One of Houston’s most famous attractions is about 40–50 minutes from the Galleria area and absolutely worth the drive. Families can tour NASA exhibits, see real spacecraft, and experience hands-on astronaut activities. This is often the highlight of a Houston family trip.
6. Kemah Boardwalk
Located about 45 minutes to 1 hour away depending on traffic, Kemah Boardwalk offers waterfront dining, carnival rides, games, and live entertainment. It’s ideal for reunion evenings because there’s something for every age group — from seafood restaurants to Ferris wheel rides.
7. Hermann Park
About 20 minutes away, Hermann Park is excellent for relaxed family time. Families can enjoy paddle boats, picnic areas, walking trails, and open green spaces. Since it’s next to the zoo and museums, it pairs well with a full day in the Museum District.
8. The Galleria Houston
Just minutes from your hotel, The Galleria is more than a shopping center. Families can enjoy restaurants, cafés, and the famous indoor ice-skating rink that has become a Houston tradition. It’s a convenient activity for evenings or rainy afternoons.
9. Sugar Land Town Square & Family Attractions
About 30–40 minutes southwest of the hotel, Sugar Land offers a quieter suburban atmosphere with parks, family dining, and attractions like the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center. It’s a nice option if your group wants to explore beyond central Houston.
10. Buffalo Bayou Park
Roughly 20 minutes away, this scenic urban park features skyline views, walking trails, bike rentals, and boat tours. It’s excellent for morning walks, family photos, or a casual outdoor gathering with plenty of room for large groups.
